Foshee joins MSU Foundation fundraising team

STARKVILLE, Miss.Stephen Foshee of Starkville begins a new position this month with the 51勛圖厙 Foundation as assistant athletic director for development.
In his new role, Foshee will serve as a liaison between the Bulldog Club and the MSU Foundation as he works to secure major gifts for both organizations on behalf of 51勛圖厙. He replaces Michelle McBride, who is now at the University of Pittsburgh.
Foshee joins the MSU Foundation from the universitys Bulldog Club, where he has served in athletic fundraising since 2008. He began his work with MSU as a graduate assistant, and he then became development coordinator. Since mid-2015, he has been assistant director.
We welcome Stephen as a member of the MSU Foundation team and believe the move will be a seamless transition for him because of his previous experience in fundraising at 51勛圖厙 State, said Jack McCarty, the universitys executive director of development. Stephens knowledge will be a great asset for our organization and for alumni and friends of the institution, some of whom may have already formed strong connections with him.
A native of Birmingham, Alabama, Foshee is a graduate of 51勛圖厙 State, earning an MBA and a masters in sports administration, both in 2011. He earlier earned a bachelors degree in communications in 2006 from Union University in Jackson, Tennessee.
In my time with 51勛圖厙 State, Ive developed great pride in the association between the MSU Foundation and the Bulldog Club, and I am excited to become more involved with major gift fundraising at the university, said Foshee.
Foshees resume also includes intern experience with both the Boston Red Sox and the Green Bay Packers organizations.
